We spent a rainy week in Italy, taking trains all over the country. This was back in March. I shot one type of film through one camera with one lens.
Our second set of cities were Jaipur and Jodhpur. We got to one by train, the other by bus. They were both fun places. Jodhpur, especially, was interesting even though I cannot pinpoint why.
Our first two stops on our trip to India were Delhi and Agra.
I went to Iceland for a weekend with a good friend. My time there was fun and the scenery beautiful, but I doubt I would go back unprompted.

My wife and I took a week out of our busy lives (our lives aren't busy) and flew to Myanmar to see what that place was all about. It is all about the kindest and most friendly people I have ever encountered.
Our Amtrak trip in 2017 had two very specific stops to see two very specific places, Joshua Tree and Crater Lake.
The end of our Amtrak trip saw my wife flying back home and me flying to Cordova, Alaska to do some fishing with my dad, brother, and grandpa.
We flew down to Martinique for three days in early 2017. It was both not what I expected and also really awesome.
We decided to spend two nights here, mostly to see the Hermitage, one of the greatest museums the world has to offer. It was a great two nights, probably not enough for such an amazing city.
OuOne of the world's greatest cities and the terminus of the long train ride, Moscow is an awesome place. And we happened to see their Victory Day Parade!
2017 seems to be the year of train travel for us. After we did the Trans-Mongolian earlier in the year, and after an awesome time last year with Amtrak, we decided to cross the USA again, this time with a few stops at a couple National Parks.
With a three-day stopover and the largest freshwater lake in the world, Irkutsk treated us pretty to some nice memories.
We had a three day stopover in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and we tried to make the most of it.
Our layover in Beijing was short this time, we still managed to get to a few places and see a few things.
In April and May of 2017, we decided to embark on an trip high on my list: The Trans-Mongolian. We would fly to Beijing and take trains all the way to St. Petersburg. This is an account of that trip.
In October my wife and I rented a car and drove all over Patagonia, it was breathtaking. We visited two countries and drove over a thousand miles, hiked multiple days and ate amazing waffles.
